Sallah did go from being on a level comparable, and almost as an equal, to Indy in that the services he provided and were known for made him a desirable ally. It is true that in LC, he became more of a lackey to Indy, and not so much a man of value in himself.

No matter what, I love Sallah in all his forms. Now, how's about we start a Sallahgear website! What are the specifications for his fez and tassle length?
