The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles - Your opinions?

The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles were a bold set of TV
episodes that ultimately failed to capture an audience. My
question is - how did this series affect you in contrast to the
movies? Did you ignore it? Or was it an emotional experience
for you that brought Indy to a whole new level?

For me, I would have to say that despite a few bad links in the
Indy chain, the YIJC was a great TV series.
