I submit that it was glasses of INDY'S OWN URINE that he was imbibing; and now offer two rationales pursuant to the forementioned scurvy-tainted pseudo-libel:
1)Ravaged by guilt over his goddamned partner's supposed demise, he was engaging in the utter self-punishment of drinking his own waste, in the classically medievalist spirit of neo-Calvinism beaten into him by his father, to thus further internalize his own self-loathing and horror at the wretched and poisonous excess which his life had become;
or,
2)Indy was pursuing an embodied and bodily method of self-cleansing and atonement for his worldy adventures by consuming the fluids of his own corporeal self, in the proto-ecstatic tradition of auto-imbibement as advocated later in the 20th century by a former leader of India, Prime Minister Morarji Desai. Perhaps Indy had learned this practice during respite from his travails at Pankot.
Well, it did look like pee.
