I dont understand the resin part? But caliber is measured in inches, so its .38 inches compared to .45 inches. There is very much a difference to anyone that knows pistols. A .38 has a smaller cylinder, and a smaller diameter barrel. Overall .38's are just smaller guns.
I just happened to find out that I have the Raiders pistol. My great grandfather was a sheriff and that was his choice of sidearm. The Smith&Wesson triple lock.........Except mine is a .44. I would rather a 44 than a .45 for a revolver anyway.....
: : Okay, I ordered a resin (ToD)colt new service w/ 5.5" barrel(.38). Should I have ordered the .45 version with the 4.5" barrel? Is there a visible difference between the .38 and .45?
: The .45 is a bigger gun than the .38, about 1/3 bigger I'd say.
