To be honest, I have never compared the color to what I see on screen. Lee told me that the color matches what you see on screen, not necessarily the color of the actual hat (those studio lights are bright!). I just kind of took his word for it.. It is such a nice hat that I never felt the need to compare, but I will do so tonight and give you my opinion tomorrow. I will also take a pic of it on my head this weekend. Cheers
