Hm. Could there be strata of unknown depth underlying the surficial "plot"?
A collective unconsciousness fostered by art yet eroded by commerce?
Benjamin's angel clasps a bullwhip in her gracile hand, but is yet blown further backwards, into the blackness of the future, by a right-leaning wind? Or pulled unwilling by the vacuum tailing a bullet fired in a too conservative fear?
