I didn't really care to see it, but they play it on HBO everyday. I couldn't help but laugh at the editing (and Mickey Rouke's face, what happened to it!?)
It seems that since "Saving Private Ryan", That quick edit technique has been getting over used and much less effective. I think Spielberg wanted give the audience a sense of the chaos of being in a war. Many directors try to use it now, but it doesn't quite work for most of them.
Anybody here remember me?
