This version has a 3" brim front and back, with 2 3/4 on the sides - a 1/8-inch increase front and back. The ribbon is 1 3/4, vs. 1 1/2. The crown shape has been modified - going from a more traditional fedora to more of a derby-shape. I also went with a narrower sweatband - 1" vs. 2".

The impetus for the whole thing was that my P1 was too small. Given a little sizing counseling from Joe, he moved me from a 7 5/8 to a half size between a 7 3/4 and 7 7/8 - ouch!
