Off topic? Well, not for gearheads waiting for packages. I ship a lot of small to medium packages all across the US and internationally. I've seen in various posts that some feel the various carriers have suffered delays in service. Frankly, I never even saw a single glitch - except for overnight delivery during the few days air traffic was grounded.
Two things that really had me jazzed though. First was a regular old US Priority mail package I had coming from a Wall Street address. It was picked up late Monday, and it arrived yesterday - 3 days coast to coast!
Second was a delivery from Noel Howard. He sent it from London on 9/9, and I just about fell out of my chair this morning when it arrived to me in LA - 2 friggin days from the UK, and clearing customs and all. Man, am I impressed!
City to city stuff all along the West coast, and from Dallas/Ft Worth and Chicago are coming in no less than 2 days - both Priority mail and plain old first class USPS.
I guess my point here is that anybody who is blaming the mail for stuff not getting to you is full of crap.
Just thought I'd share.
