I figured that he just pass the handle between a space under the truck and the knob made a nice hold of it. Similar to how a rock climber would wedge a hand in a crack in the rock to secure himself or herself. Thats what I thought all these years. Don't tell me that you are planning to do that for your Indy film! Have a good one!
