I think the books are still relatively easy to find. I still see them at my local WaldenBooks (if Books-a-Million is heaven, Barnes and Noble is Purgatory while WaldenBooks is hell) alongside with all those millions of Star Wars novels. And most decent bookstores will order a book for you if you ask politely.
