My guess is that it's during the Halloween scene- when the Mom first sees the kids' outfits. I'm not really sure, though, since it's been a while since I've seen it.

I rank E.T. up there with Raiders and the Wizard of Oz, so I don't mind any extras- as long as we can still have the original film available. (Unlike Star Wars, which now seems to only be available as the Special Edition.)
