I don't think really impressionable kids should read them, but I love the books. I hope the movie is good. I don't like the casting choice for the Hagrid. My wife and I listen to books on roadtrips. Jim Dale, who is the reader on the tapes is very talented. He gave each character a distinctive style. From what I've seen in the trailer, actor Robbie Coltrane just doesn't measure up to Dale's perfomance(imho). Here is the real question though: What's up with the neat and tidy hair on the kid playing Potter? The way book describes it, you picture a shorter version of Tim Buton's mane.
