"Abu" is "father of" in Arabic.
"Ibn" is "son of."
At least, most dialects agree on those.
I read your post a ways down, but it looked like such a fuster-cluck down there, I thought that I'd spare you. ;)
And yeah, her name was Fayah; though for years I thought Marion was kissing Sallah to thank him for "Fire."
I didn't learn better until close captioning educated me a little.
Let's be careful out there.
