Midwest glove model number?

I recently visited my local hardware store and asked if they sold
Midwest gloves. To my delight, they did, but did not have model
#850 (from previous posts, the authentic gloves worn by our hero)
in stock. I asked if they could order a pair, but when the
salesperson looked it up in his catalog, the model was 850VL and
was described as having a deer lining. I never read anyone saying
the gloves had a lining and just wanted to know if there was a
model 850 (without the VL), or did Iny's gloves have that lining.

Any input is (as always) greatly appreciated.
