Yeah a whip is capable of the stuff in the movies. Although it will destroy the whip over time. (depending on how much u weigh and what ur doin). When I was a kid i used my trustee whip to swing across many a branch as well. Now that I'm 22 and 200 pounds I think I'll save the whip swinging for those dire needs only :)
