I think from what I've read, Lucas thinks that the newest versions are far closer to what he invisioned when he made them. I dunno. GL didnt direct all of them, he had help. Now it looks like he's been given full rein over what to do. Maybe he always had 100% control. However I dont know a single fan that would not want the Original versions and the newest up to date ones.

I guess I'll have to be sure to hang onto my old tapes!
