Does anybody who might live in the Seattle area, or who picks up the ABC affiliate TV station Komo 4 remember a show called Front Runners? It was a news magazine type show for the local Seattle area hosted by weatherman Steve Pool.
There was a particular episode about a kid who lived on a ranch and was big on Indiana Jones and when he grew up he realized that Jones' whip couldn't do all the things that it could do in the movies. In the behind the scenes they used a 30 foot long one for swinging, a 6 foot for hanging on his belt and snapping at people etc. So he made a whip that is able to do all the things that Indy's did in the movies and he braids them for something like $2500 U.S.
I was wondering if anybody had caught this episode, or knows of any more information or a site about this guy, if he still makes the whips. I'd like to read more about it.
