Origin of Short Round.....

Flipping channels earlier today and found a Korean War movie called "The Steel Helmet". In the opener, the main character has a conversation with a young Korean Boy who he refers to as "Short Round".

It is a pretty old movie so my guess is that's where GL got the TOD characters name from.
