: This has been discussed some what before, but I think it's worth asking. For myself, I have a harder time envisioning a post war story. It's selfish really. I just love 30's-40's. I suppose it can be done in the fifties if the story doesn't take place in the USA. Keep Indy in a third world country and it would work.
: What do you think?
...thataway it will still be in the 40's with enough of the flavor still lingering, but before what everyone seems to think of, or associate with the 50's. The cars would still look cool as there would be no wings on the back of them, and the war would be just barely over, with plenty of Nazis still in S.A., like Patterson said. Maybe even some that might still harbor a grudge against Indy. One last chance to kick dust in their faces. Fedora
