TPM is my least favorite Star Wars movie, but I really only have a few minor problems with it (mostly dealing with the low-grade humor). The CGI I have no problem with, except perhaps that Gungan/battle droid battle, which looked entirely fake. Anyhoo, I admit that CGI is still inferior in some respects, and superior in some respects. And as a general preference, I'll take CGI, because to me, it's less distracting. The only time I think FX are equal are when it comes to humans riding on nonexistant animals - Luke on the Tauntaun in ESB looked every bit as awful as Anakin riding those whats-its-thingies in AotC. Oy.
