The Junkers J.L. 6 form 1919 was the first all-metal plane. And tell him the Ford Tri-Motor was only a knock-off of a Fokker plane. The Fokker wasn't all metal, though, but it looks just like the Tri-Motor. The Junker first came out in 1919, I believe. It was used as a postal aircraft.
