Steven Spielberg has confirmed for SCI FI Wire that the movie "WILL have a supernatural element and that it will take place in the 1950s."

I think we all knew about the 50's setting, but this is the first I've heard about the supernatural aspect.

(Hey, I just thought it was funny to see this story on other sites with the 'scoop' about the supernatural.)
