Saving Private Ryan is violent because it shows you what all these young men had to see and indure.They tried to make it realistic to show you the horror of war.These men had to see their friends blown to bits to protect this great counrty.I hate people who say there is no need to show all this violence in war movies.Theu want to show you that war is not cool and killing is not cool.If these men had not gone there this counrty might not be free.
