Spielberg HAS CONFIRMED Indy IV

On the British film review show 'Film 98' just a few minutes ago, Steven Spielberg confirmed Indy IV would go ahead although he didn't say when and Sean Cinnery may not be involved. Here's a full(ish) text of what he said to Barry Norman (BN)

BN: So are you sticking to serious films now instead of entertainment ones such as ET or Indiana Jones?

SS: Well, no. There won't be another ET, I have always said that but there will be another Indiana Jones. George (Lucas) has said yes, so has Harrison (Ford) and we're just sorting out a few ideas.

BN: What about Sean Connery?

SS: Maybe Sean...I love working with Sean.
