Indy's home? Please help!

Hello,
I'm currently working on an Indiana Jones story and need to know where Indy lives (state etc.) according to the lucasfilm movies. I don't know if this was ever obvious in the movies. Maybe I just havn't looked enough.
I need to be as accurate as possible. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
