Did anyone catch the beginning of the Hercules season premier? They had a hilarious tribute to the "exchange" scene at the beginning of Raiders.
Autolycus, a master thief, needs to remove an item from a weight-sensitive trigger. He picks up a tiny bag, fills it with sand, and rubs his chin. Hercules, in the background is fidgiting with his fingers (like Satipo). I admit that I laughed out loud. By the way, Autolycus did manage to perform the "exchange" flawlessly... but he tries it again to get another item, and fails.
I think the cinematographer and director of this scene matched the Raiders scene shot for shot. I was impressed!
