Here's the thing - regardless of a previous owner of your N64 (BTW - get an Xbox and play Emperor's Tomb), there should be no difference made to the game. The save games are stored on the cartridge, not the N64 - it doesn't have hard-drive. So, unless you loaded up the save game of a previous owner of the actual game, there should be no problem. Besides, I don't even think that there are cheats for the game. I could be wrong.
