First of all, I would have to say that NASA would be making a very poor choice if they selected me to study climate conditions anywhere, but here's my list anyway.

Videos- I would cheat. I would sneak in the box set.
Novel- I haven't had time to read them all either. So I would probably take the one with the most interesting-looking cover.
Collectible- I would take Karen Allen. And the whip. (My ass ain't going nowhere for a year alone.)
