Sorry to disrupt the computer game discussion, but I was thinking about how Marion was offered $5000 for that headpiece, and almost certainly even more from the Germans. Wasn't that in 1936 or something? In 1999 dollars, with inflation, isn't that about a million dollars? Remember, movies used to cost a nickel back then (ask your grandmom) and now we pay $8.25. So, what's wrong with Marion for not taking all that cash? OR, was this purposely made into a realistic value that a present day audience would appreciate, rather than Indy saying, "300 bucks..." If so, it's a little insulting to the audience, dumbing it down like that.
