: It's been about 10 years since I was there but I swear that the hat on display is described as being suede. Yet from everything we have ever seen or heard the hats were all felt. Is it a fault in my memory (I mean I am getting up there) or is that really the description of the hat on display. Please someone prove I'm not going senile.

Hi!

I was there and wrote down what's written on the sign. Hope that helps.

Indiana Jones Jacket and Hat
Worn by Harrison Ford (b. 1942)

[text]
Harrison Ford wore this fedora and leather jacket in Raiders of the
Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, the 1980's adventure
films about an archaeologist who goes on quest for lost treasures.
Indiana Jones resourceful and ironic heroism endeared him to movie
goers.

The films sparked a widespread demand for the kind of clothing the
hero wore, and the Americans hjave made these symbols of adventure
part of their daily lives.
