: I know a few. Dont wet them with warm water, dont dry a wet hat via heat source. What others can be used? Can I use scotch Guard to prevent water from soaking too deep into the hat with fur felt? I have used Camp Dry etc. on a wool hat. Can it be used on fur?
Yes, the Scotch Guard will do fine. I used that stuff until I ran out, and then bought some repellant just for felt hats. I feel sure it is the same as Scotch Guard. The key is-keep it treated. regards, steve
