I applied nail polish remover with paper towels a little at a time... wiping the surface with them. almost immediately the surface in the areas i messed with (under the collar for a test) had a milky white look to them...sorta like they were fogged over. I wiped the area off and tried again without much luck.
All it really succeeded in doing was to make the jacket reaally reek!

Where did i go wrong?
