Dimensional cut refers to the cutting equally of sides to front/back. Your second example is a dimensional cut i.e. 2 3/4 front and back, 2 1/2 sides. Regards. Michaelson
: : : After watching the movies again and various pics. I still don't believe in the dimensional cut.
: : What persuaded me was buying hats that didn't have the dimensional cut, and then doing the cut to discover that it looked right.
: Ok, so stupid question because I don't really know much about dress hats... What exactly is a dimensional cut.
: I am wrong in thing\king that the brim would be the same width all the way around.
: Non dimensional being say, 2 3/4 front, 2 1/2 sides, yada yada???
