I think your best bet would be to go to a local library, or even a university bookstore, and take a look at what they have. There are a number of excellent textbooks and journals there. There are a few archaeology atlases, but I wouldn't recommend them as they're too general and usually written for kids.
I;d give you some titles but my texts are all packed up (graduated 4 years ago, haven't used 'em since!)
