The veg goat I have is identical in thickness to the lambskin FS uses. While it does not drape quite like my wife's FS lambskin, it is relaxing quite nicely - the sleeves getting that really cool creasing, and the grain and natural creases coming out. Beautiful!

On strength? It is what it is - lambskin is not as strong as goat. I like the look of lamb, and it is just SOOOOOOO comfortable, but it will never Be realistic to compare its durability to these other leathers. I may get another lambskin someday, but I'd never put it in harm's way. IMHO
