....it's the idiots who prefer bright, shiny, and noisy things to substance that should apologize. Ignorance has a strangle-hold on mass media to the point that these morons are actually celebrating their ignorance. It wasn't that long ago that people were embarrassed with their ineptitude.
One other remark: if you find yourself saying "Man, I love CGI," and "The CGI looked awesome,"-----then it failed. If it's any good you're not supposed to notice it. You should be left wondering "how did they DO that?"
Consider soundtracks, they're meant to further the mood not distract you. It's pathetic that Hollywood is over-reliant on CGI b/c it's trendy right now. It's more expensive than models and rarely ever looks as good.
Mummy, Matrix, Mummy II, etc. -----they're bad, expensive videogame fantasies for pre-pubescent boys.
