This was the first lesson I learned when I moved to Florida. I worked with the Highway patrol, and the first thing I was advised was to throw away any containers of mink oil I had, as it attracted all manners of bugs that loved to eat the mink oil marinated leather. Stay north of the Mason/Dixon line. You'll be fine in cooler climates. Regards. Michaelson
